Pot Limit Omaha Poker Odds Calculator
- The following is slightly modified from an article of mine that appeared in the December, 1997 issue of the Canadian Poker Monthly. I want to acknowledge with appreciation the contributions of Nolan Dalla, Dave Scharf, and others to this effort to quantify starting hands in Omaha Hi-Lo Poker (Eight or Better).
- Jan 01, 2017 The strategy involves a part of the game that deals with calculating (1) outs, (2) poker pot odds and (3) your poker equity in a pot. While the three concepts go hand-in-hand, our main focus in this article will be elaborating on the first two. Start calculating pot odds with 888poker's poker calculator.

Introduction
You can set the calculator to determine the odds of you winning with that flush draw and compare that to the pot odds you received. If the poker hand simulator says you only win the hand 19% (4 to 1 odds) of the time, but you had to call a pot-sized bet to see the river (2 to 1 pot odds), then you shouldn’t have made the call. With support for many different poker variants, including No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha Hi, and Hi-Lo amongst others, This tool is a crowd pleaser. It can be used to calculate Equity in All-In situations, compare hand ranges versus different types of hands, and is amongst the best ways to learn how to get a feel for how hands fair against. Pot Odds: Pot odds is simply a ratio of the amount of money in the pot compared with how much money it takes to call. The higher the ratio, the better your pot odds are. If there are $12 in the pot and it costs $4 to call then you are getting 3:1 odds ('cost to stay in').
This poker calculator will give you the odds of a win, loss, and tie for each player in Omaha or Omaha Hi/Lo 8 or better. Click on any card and it will be used in the position indicated by the yellow frame. You may click on any valid card to move the frame there. Check 'folded hand' to indicate the given player is out of the hand, removing his cards from the remaining deck. You may also configure any random situation. Please allow a few seconds for each scenario to be calculated, especially Hi/Lo, because calculating Omaha takes longer than calculating Texas Hold ’em. Enjoy!
